Cheree had a great sense of adventure and knew how to have fun. She loved sunshine, crafty things, travelling, her career, and being a mom. I still see her putting around her garden. Love to Vinnie and her boys. Cheree, I will see you again. Sister Marla

I do not know where to begin. Babie I miss you BIG. To see all of your words is just apart of Cheree! She would take a spider she found in the house back out side & let it go. At the end of the day we could talk for hours about the days events or life. The way her eyes would twinkle at me every time we met. The Sunday mornings ,with her perfect breakfast she would make. The adventure her and I went on. Watching her work in the yard. Dancing in the living room by candle light!! There is so much that I WILL Never be able to put into words. In the eight years we where together we never had one argument or disagrement. I have been blessed to pass this way in my life and to have Cheree as my partner. I miss you sweetie. ME

Myself and the other firefighters and EMTs at the Girdwood Volunteer Fire Department were very surprised and saddened to hear of Cheree's death. We knew Cheree as the electrician who could fix anything. Her smile, her energy, and that positive attitude brightened our lives whenever we saw her. She was such a dynamo whenever she visited us that it usually wasn't even noon before she was finished with everything we had asked of her and was looking for another project. Lights and outlets around the station that hadn't worked for years were the kind of challenge she loved. I only wish we had known of her illness sooner so that we might have had another chance to let her know how much we thought of her. Of course, she probably would have just shrugged off any compliments. I can only imagine how much those of you who were closer to her must miss her. As tiny as she was, she leaves some big boots to fill. R. Parry Asst. Chief (Ret.) GVFD

I've been friends with Cheree and all the Blackmore family for many years, but had lost contact with her in recent years. I didn't know of her illness, and am very sorry to hear of her passing. My condolences to all who loved her, of which I'm sure are many.

My daughter Cheree' was such a wonderful person. She gave me so much that I don't know where to begain. The picture that Cheree' took with two of her sons and me walking down a path to go look at a water fall is and will always be on display in my house. I cherish the beautiful rocks and stones that she sent me from the pump stations north of Fairbanks and coral rocks from Costa Rica that her and Vinnie gathered to give me. I am in a saddened state but will get better by doing the things that my daughter Cheree' would want me to do. Rest in peace-I love you! Cal

It ia hard to believe that Cheree is gone to heaven. I knew her since she was a little girl, and saw her the last time, at her sister's Marla's wedding. I always loved Cheree, and she brought such joy to the ones around her. She will be missed. I have to feel that she is in heaven, with her Mom now.

I have many fun memories with Cheree. When she got tickled about something, she had the cutest laugh. If she laughed it had to be funny. She was into photography and would take the most interesting vacation pictures. When I think of Cheree it's all good thoughts. She will be missed.

Cheree lost her battle, but she fought it like the warrior she always was. Mark said it perfectly when he said she rushed out of here so quick. When I thought about it, wasn't that just like her, to rush out of the room hoping noone would pay attention or notice. She was so modest and hated to call attention to herself.

I'm sure she had something bigger and better to go do, and I can just hear her yelling when she got there, "Wa Hoo".

I'm saddened to lose such a great friend who has been there for so long with me. I miss knowing she's around. She truly was a great friend.

My deepest condolences go out to her boys, Vince, and all of her family.
