Uncle Cliff was indeed my favorite uncle, I’m his niece, Jane and spent some time with Cliff more so when I was younger I babysat his children, and grew up in Anchorage and Paxson, I’m his sister Nadine’s daughter and I to miss my uncle very much. About three months before he passed away we talked on the phone for oh at least 2 and half hours, laughing talking about our cancers for I two have colon cancer and has spread to my lungs and liver had many tumors removed as he and we even discussed our future which we both new was a matter of time, he said he was going on a trip to see his children and grand children and aunt Harriet and her son took a drive and we talked on the cell on 3 different nights while they were driving and he said he was comfy in the back seat and was glad he made the trip, but was ready to get home and we cried well I did anyway because it is sad knowing that this damn cancer was going to get us, but were fighters and that we’ve done and I will continue until my last breath, as uncle cliff did he used to tease us girls, (cousins)sometimes to the point of making me really angry like when he’d pull my pony tails, he would laugh so hard and id be crying not from pain but anger lol cause it is funny now to remember him just laughing as he was pulling my hair or tickling me till id cry, and how ironic for him to pass on all Halloween eve, my mother and I talked that night and she said yes he’s up there flying around with all the other creatures that are out playing tricks on people and children alike for that was one of his things he like to do,make them laugh make them cry didn’t matter he got a kick out of both and tricks cant forget those so this year on the 31st of oct look out for uncle cliff cause he’s proubley up there flying with ghost and witches goblins alike having the time of his life wouldn’t be surprised if he choose that nite,id like to think he’s up in heaven with his father and mother and aunt pat uncle Terry and Kelly and his friends which he had many whom lives were cut way to short ill bet they got a game of pinnacle going on right now iam glad I saw this sight for other then crying and being alone from the rest of the family here in Fargo north Dakota yea I no what in the world am I doing here I ask myself that a lot also but iam planning a trip as uncle did and going to see my daughters and grand kids in fla also and then back to see my son here then god willing I have enough energy to do one more trip to Alaska where my finale trip will leave me probley wore out, Thinking about it makes me that way well family friends of uncle cliff salute peace be with u god speed, I will see u soon uncle.
