Thank you Dr. Ingle for keeping this guestbook open permanently. Not a day goes by that I don't miss you Neil.

We are still missing you, Grandpa...

Papa Neil, thanks for watching over our family and we know you will continue to do so, all-be-it from a loftier position. We love and miss you.

I've been a colleague and friend of Neil's from 1975 on--I met him in Nome, involving him in a successful case on behalf of an elderly Eskimo man. I assisted him, over three decades, with many cases brought on behalf of his indigent Eskimo clients. He was a tireless champion of the wretched and the wronged. These last ten years, I talked to him about our writing biographical sketches of him--it would have been a sketchbook of Bush Alaska of years gone by. More people should know about this generous and great man. I will forever miss his penetrating mind, his deep concern and his open heart. Rest in peace, my brother. May God shine his light upon you.

I tried a case against Neil in the late 1990's. Even though it was a difficult, emotional three week long wrongful death case, Neil was always the consumate gentleman. I remember that he would greet me every morning with his gravelly "good morning counselor!"

The professionalism and collegiality of the legal profession in Alaska is slightly diminished by Neil's passing. Your family's loss is shared by so many others in the profession.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

This is the one and only time my friend Neil told me a fib. He moved on to the yensides way before his time, that he allowed for. I spent many hours over the years in deep discussion and his integrity as a good christian preceeds Neil beyond one's imagination. I pray that you find peace, my friend.

I have known Neil and his family since the 1980s. Neil has always being a very good friend of mine and I will miss him dearly. May the Great Judge in the heavens look over him. Action Jackson
