I coached ski racing with Dave, I still think of him often. I wish the best for Heather and her children. This week TAS will host the Dave Kincaid Memorial GS. Now that I'm back coaching with TAS I'll do my best to let those racers know why they are racing - because of Dave!

Dave was a wonderful person, he was my best friend. Words can not express how much he will be missed.

Dave was a trusted mentor for me as a young ski racer. As my coach at TAS he helped me progress as a young man and as an athlete.

I am deeply sadened by his passing

Heather and family, it is very sad to hear of Dave's passing. To this day, I hear my UAA teammate telling me to get after it and stop skiing like a coach! Many years have passed since that ski party at our house Heather - it is nice to know that you had those years to share with one another. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I personally want to thank each and every person that writes with their memories of Dave. I truly believe our spirits exist beyond physical form and when you think of David or wish him to be there he will. I personally will keep Dave very close in my heart.

Our hearts go out to you in sadness. Although we have been gone from Alaska for 18 years, we still talk about that darling young boy, and all of your extended family.

With deepest sympathy

Heather,

Donna and I were both saddened to hear about the untimely passing of one of my best friends. Dave was a great guy who I really enjoyed knowing and working with. God works in strange ways and I am sure he has a plan for this situation. Sorry we were not able to attend the funeral. Donna's father passed away so we were unavailable. God Bless and Take Care

To the Family
I am, as all are very sad to hear about the loss of David. Although I did not get to see him much, when we talked he always filled me with smiles thinking about skiing. He alowed me to go faster than I have ever gone on skis when he gave me a pair of 210cm skis.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.

Heather,
I will miss David. I met David at the Arctic Man ski & snowmobile race where we teamed up one year and entered the race. Recently, I have been working with David on a Home Depot being built in Juneau.

In play and work, he was always optimistic, fair, fun, and had a great attitude. He frequently spoke of you and your two daughters and it was obvious you three girls were the priority in his life. My deepest sympathies to you and the girls!

If you are ever in Juneau, you have friends to assist in any needs,

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
