I was going through my wedding pictures and came across a picture of Del, and was instantly reminded of his always ready smile, and wonderful giving nature. We still think about him and miss him dearly!

We, the family of Delmer Zahn, would like to thank his friends in Anchorage for sharing stories of his life. Delmer did not share a lot of his life from Alaska. It has brought us much comfort to know he was loved and cared for. His passing on has creating a hole in our hearts; he is truly missed.

His family in Vancouver

Dale was a really great roommate and friend. I'm in a wheelchair. When my disability assistance fell through, Dale pitched in and helped me. He was a really sweet guy and I really miss him.

Del was an amazing friend. I can not count how many wonderful times we shared camping and fishing. Del would gladly give a stranger the shirt off his back or a place to stay. We will miss him dearly and hold close to our hearts the light he shared with everyone he knew.

Dale was a positive and good friend to our entire family. for about 5 years. He rented an apartment from us for a couple of years and quickly became like family to each of us. He shared many family meals and holiday celebrations with us. He was very accepting of our disabled teenage and adult children, and treated each as a friend. He frequently took them to the mall or to the movies with him. We loved his sense of humor, his laugh, his unannounced pop-in visits, his concern for our sick kids, and his hugs and smiles each time we saw him. He will be missed by the entire Korda family in Anchorage, Alaska.
