Dear Mrs. Metoyer and family,

I'm not sure if you remember me, I played hockey with Duncan for years at AHA. Duncan was one who I considered a childhood freind and contributed to fond childhood memories; I thank you for that, because it is through you, that I have these personal treasures.

About a year before his passing, I had the chance to reconnect with Duncan as our kids teams were passing between hockey practice. Lil Duncan is a bit older than my son Hunter-and was practicing at the time of our visit. We chatted for about an hour and I must say it was a fantastic visit. During lil Duncans practice, I was amazed at how much he resembled his dad on the ice at that age-this is how I'll remember Duncan.

At any rate Mrs. Metoyer, I wish your family the best-please pass on my sincere condolence to everyone, but most all to yourself.

Respectfully,

my grandfather was John Ivins Metoyer of Natchitoches and this is the first time that I have seen a name so simular to that of my deceased grandfather who passed away in 1955

Hello, my name is Cherese Jordan. Duncan and I met while at Bartlett high school. He was my buddy and yes, Duncan...I'm telling it. He and another gentleman were cheerleaders for a couple of weeks at Bartlett. They lifted and held us young ladies in the air... We talked a lot while he was in his early stages and throughout his surgery in New Orleans. He was laughing and joking the whole time that I did not believe that they had amputated his leg until he came back to Alaska and I saw for myself. He lived life and loved life! God Bless..Rest in Loving Peace.....(BoonDockCity)-(by Duncam)
