Ed is my step-dad and I really enjoyed calling him "Dad". I have a lot of respect for him because of his honor, work ethic, humor, cooking skills, building skills, and I could go on and on. He was such a powerful and positive impact in my life that I still feel his presence. Serving in the Air Force has kept me distant and I regret not being home more often. My sincere condolences to Ed's Mother, Father, Sister, niece and nephew and of course my Mother and... everyone who knew Ed. Thanks to everyone for your condolences and comments here.

Ed was a 20 year friend both at work and at home. I've been thinking of some of the good times we had at his cabin, winter & summer. I miss him already. Ed was truly a GOOD MAN.

I was sorry to hear of Ed’s passing, he will always be remembered by those that knew him as a man with a big heart. He was on my crew several years ago, a part of the ”ALL BEEF” crew. I remember his lattes he would mix up on request. You could always depend on his jolly laugh & smile, even if it wasn’t in his favor! Ed was dependable and never gave up, regardless of the situation he gave 100%. He had been in many our thoughts & prayers around the slope since his illness. Rest in peace buddy as your work is done.

You can tell alot about a person in their laugh and in their smile and in Ed's case you could write volumes. I got to know Ed over the years working for Nabors and I dont think I ever seen him without a smile. We have lost one our best and he will be greatly missed by us all. Rest in Peace my friend.

I only had the privilege of knowing Ed for about four years on 2ES. Ed was always kind, considerate and came with that big smile. We shared lots of stories and pictures of vacations together. He led me in and out of locations during a blow I don't know how many times. I am very sorry for your loss. He was a real gentleman.

To Mae and Ed,s family:
My deepest sympathy and sorrow. I worked with Ed on 18E & 9ES. We shared many conversations at work and when we reached town. I didn't know Ed was ill but he is in a better place now & not hurting anymore. He was a friend and coworker that will be missed but never forgotten.
