An honor to have known this fine gentle giant. Giant in so many ways. Will miss that twinkle in his eyes when he told his stories. RIP my friend. See you and your little doggie on the other side.

Many memories in a 180 with "OB" while I was in Bethel. A man to "ride the river with". Rest in peace.

Dan c/o The O'Brien Family,
What a strong frontiersman Mr. O'Brien was! I see his sense of adventure and brilliance in you, Dan. You all must be very proud to have shared his time and genetic heritage. His contribution to the WW2 War in the Pacific served all of us in having the lives we enjoy today. I am honored to know Eugene O'Brien's son and I share your sadness at his passing and also, the joy of life everlasting.

Dennis, Dan and Family, my regret and condolences. Obie, "May the road rise up to meet you and the wind be at your back". It was always a pleasure to work and play with you so save me a place and we will be together before long.

Will miss visiting with OB at the annual Law Enforcement reunions, and running into him at the local Winlock grocery store. Besides law enforcement, we shared a love for our Corgi (dog), pals. RIP.

Obie, I could have listened to your stories for hours. I wish you had written your memoirs.

O'bie was a great man, both as a boss and friend. He was a giant of a man both in stature and life. His obituary tells it all.
From a WWII soldier to an Alaska State Trooper. You will be missed old friend.
