He Ain't Heavy--He's My Brother...
This 1969 song was always one of my favorites. After my Amazon Alexa played this song right after my dear brother-in-law, Frank Thomas, was hospitalized on January 15 after he suffered from a burst brain aneurism plus a stroke, I couldn't get it out of my head. I thought of this song almost every day of the 21 days we spent with him at Florida Hospital Orlando until he suffered a 2nd unrecoverable stroke and died on Feb. 5, 2017. The Alexa I brought to Frank's hospital room so he could enjoy some music even played "He's My Brother" a few times as part of shuffling '60's Soft Rock music. I'm tearing up again... Rest In Peace, my dear departed brother-in-law, Frank Thomas...Tom and I loved you and we miss you every day...

Frank was a fine man and did much good service in the anchorage community. He will be missed by very many in the flooring business.
