Marian is our niece, so I ended talking a lot of politics and current events at family events with Owen. When their kids came along, Owen always had one or both of them up in the air or on a shoulder, two little guys and one big one, clowning around, full of energy. The last time I saw Owen was in June, in Washington, DC, when the families, after the interment service for Marian's Grandpa George, all went to an Italian restaurant where George used to treat the entire gang when she was growing up. It was a warm, nostalgic time. Hard to believe that Owen is gone. We send our love from Milwaukee to Marian and the boys and all Owen's family and friends.
