Never met the Coach but was in the arena for some classic battles between South
Carolina and Marquette in the 70's - Al McGuire against his old college coach - Frank McGuire - Rick and Hank Raymond's on the Marquette bench - for a period Donnie Walsh on the South Carolina bench - great games , great coaches - now all but Donnie gone. I can imagine there is already a coaching clinic going on in heaven with all of the above.
