Happy Father's Day, Dad. I wish you could see the kids. Baby Zack looks so much like you.

I always enjoyed my visits to Wasilla. Jim made me feel like part of the family. He had a wonderful sense of humor! Wanting to watch Riddick over and over. I like to think, he is in that spaceship traveling the universe! Take comfort in knowing Jeani, that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Jim and his wife Jean and their dogs were my family in Alaska. The house in Wasilla was my second home. He was the first person I knew here. Jim was a wonderful man, a dear friend and a brother to me. He will always be missed.

I return the thought of wings you once so generously gifted me with, Jean, so that you and Jim's family and friends may soar. <3

Having only met Jim a few times, I really knew more of him though his wife. Jim was a very generous person in many areas of his life and work. I will pray his family and wife. I know that he will continue to do great things from above....an Alaskan friend

I am so sorry to hear about Jim. I didn't know him outside the office, but talked with him often at work. He always made me laugh. He could blithely say the most outrageous things then give you the "look" as you registered what he had said.

He shared his 10 year plan with me and I am so sorry he did not get to complete it. I often thought about him after he moved and wondered how the plan was going. He was a kind man and very funny. I'll miss him.

May these words bring you comfort: "He is healing the broken hearted ones and is healing the painful spots.: Psalm 147:3
