My condolences to his Wife and Family. My prayers are with as you go through this time of life. I am a better person having had known Coach Pete during my time at East. I will remember always his tough kindness and not sugar coating things. May he rest in peace. Love and Respect.

Coach Pete you were a big influence on allot of students at East as a coach and a mentor. You will be missed by all. We were all very lucky to have had you as part of our lives. RIP

I will never forget Coach Pete. He was hard but he was also very fair. He would yell at you for screwing up and then turn around and give you a big hug when you did something good. I remember that he took all day out of a Saturday on his day off to come down and watch me in a Powerlifting meet. That meant so much to me.I remember when all the teachers went on strike, and he refused to because it was important to his students and athletes that he remain and coach.I hope you enjoyed those cinnamon rolls from Shakeys that we brought you at lunch time every Friday LOL

RIP Coach Pete, you will always be remember by the T-bird family. I always remembered your classes I took with you, they where great memories of East High.

Coach Pete was such a wonderful mentor for those that were lucky enough to have been taught by him. I remember him fondly for his kind heartidness and sense of humor. As one of his countless students who have become coaches ourselves, we all carry a piece of Coach Pete with us. Thank you Coach and my condolences to Jean.
