I'd like to express my condolences to Kathy's family. I first met Chuck and Kathy when they were members of the Midnight Sun Street Rod Association back in the 1980s. I'll always remember Kathy's infectious smile followed by her laugh. She was always fun a club functions or when we'd see each other at various locations around Anchorage. Kathy will be missed by not only me but everyone who's met her.

I took care of Kathleen as her nurse at the Deska Cottage, I have been a nurse for 15 years, and through the years, you meet people you will never, ever forget. Kathleen is one of those people for me. I was her nurse, but we also had a unique friendship, there are people in life that you just feel like you have known them for a long time!, that's how I felt about Kathleen, she was an inspiration, a confident, and a person that cares for your hurts and pains, even though she is hurting, I love her, and tried so hard to keep her from having pain, now she is free, from pain, and no more tears, Love you Miss Kathleen, So long,

I first met Kathy in 1979 when I needed help with child care. She had a daycare service at the time. What began as a business relationship quickly turned into a friendship that continued even after I left Alaska in 1991 for the Lower 48. She was the salt of the earth kind of person and always had her kids and grandkids front and center. She and Chuck had a wonderful relationship that was a model for others. I will miss her deeply.

A testament to what a wonderful person Mrs. Lyons was is reflected in the life of her son Chuck Lyons of whom I have the privilege to work with. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family and those connected to them.

Mrs. Lyons was a wonderful kind soul. I worked with her daughter Debbie, they were the nicest family, RIP. I'll never forget both of these lovely ladies.

Oh my gosh. I am so sorry to hear Kathy has passed. Every time we opened ourselves to love Kathy, we had happiness and joy. Great people that memories are built on. Then, all of a sudden, we are faced with the loss of Kathy, and our hearts are pierced with sadness. We loved you Kathleen, and I'm still trying to figure how since I was such a brat. Keep your smile upon us here, your friends in Santa Fe, and when He calls us, please be there waiting for us with your warm open arms.
