I will always remember our science trips to Cumberland island, GA and will look forward to being there again thinking of Ken.
January 04, 2017
Ken was a wonderful man. He was a student of mine during his time at Penn State. Later we worked together for several years in Alaska. I have fond memories of Ken and the enthusiasm he brought for both work and outdoor activities. My condolences to Ken's family and my prayers are with you.

Mr. Farnstrom was my 8th grade science teacher at Villa Rica High. I have fond memories of his classes and the enthusiasm he brought to his lessons. Reading about his life made me smile. My sincerest condolences to you all.

To the family, you have my sincere condolences and prayers. Mr. Armstrong was my science teacher and made it fun to be in his classroom.

Beth, I am deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Farnstrom. I was in 8th grade when he began teaching at Villa Rica High School. He was my Science teacher and I, one of many thorns in his side, probably. As the class took him on, he stood fast and very well prepared!
The obituary explains such a beautiful career and journey through this life in a favorite place of mine, too, Alaska...
Beth, know that you and your family, especially Dorothy, her son and daughter, will be in my prayers... May He comfort, hold, and keep you through all of the coming days.
Lean on Him for your every need.
I am so sorry...

Sending my sincere condolences to the family. I hope you can find comfort in the words at Psalm 145:18,19. May you find the strength to cope through this difficult time by meditating on the promises found in God's word.

Dear Beth, We think about these events, but cannot prepare for them. My trust is that God has prepared you and that you can take a deep breath and continue to live. I would welcome a call from you when you can.
