Yesterday I saw my dad on the way to family night (we have dinner with friends and family at least 3 time a month to make sure we keep in touch.) Ken was driving his wheelchair up the sidewalk of the street by his old house. He had a big smile on his face and he had his right armed raised in the air. To those who didn't know him, it could pass as a salute, but to me it was the all too familiar way for him to say "Hello, my son." I miss you so much dad... thanks for staying around in my thoughts and dreams.

Anyone who had the pleasure to be Ken's friend was truely blessed. He was the most loyal, dedicated, and forgiving person any of us knew. We will miss the fishing trips, the silly jokes, and who he was as a person. The memories we have will last us a lifetime and we will miss you more than you know. God Bless you Ken, we love you.

Ken "Mr. Martinez" will always have a special place in my heart. I know I'll miss the jokes he would make, the smiles he would quickly flash when talking about his children and family, the Spanish he would make me learn, the fishing trips I would accompany him with to the Moose River and of course, Mr. M's Beans and Chili. He was a great person and I am sadden for his loss. Crystal and I wish all the family the best in this difficult time and express our deepest sympathy.

I gonna miss walking into Pop's house and him always there with a smile, a joke and the way he always called me by my name in Spanish. Whatever you need Shawn , Dan and Burt I'm here for you. My deepest sympathy in these hard times.

Kenneth was so full of life and humor. He use to call me "George" and tease me all the time. He was always trying to get me to go to Alaska and always making me laugh with all of his jokes. I will miss him alot. My prayers are with you during your loss.

In the many years that I knew Ken, he taught me a lot. Not just things I should know as a man but things that really matter and things that I will keep with me forever. I will miss him every day. I will miss the garage sessions, the funny jokes (even the ones that went over my head), the fishing trips to Moose River, but most of all the true and loyal friend we all had in Ken. We are all going to miss you Ken, we all love you!

My prayers are you and your family at this time of loss. Ken was always such a joy to visit and will be missed. I want to praise your family for doing such a tremendous job of caring for him as his health failed. He was truly blessed to have you folks providing his care in his time of need. I know it was difficult and a 24 hour a day job but you all are amazing in your commitment to him. As a Care Coordiantor I don’t see that as often as you would think.
