So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. We were friends and colleagues throughout the 1970s and 1980s in Anchorage when Larry served on the Board of Directors of the Anchorage Arts Council for many years. He was committed, smart, friendly and fun to be with. He had a smile for everyone. He was one of my favorite friends during the years I lived in Alaska. My best wishes to those he left behind.

Larry and I met in 1965 after we were both sent to Alaska in 1964 by the U. S. Army. After our release from active duty in 1966 we both decided to return to Alaska to live, a decision neither of us ever regretted. I've lost a lifelong friend, and extend my sympathy to his brother, Richard, and his many friends.
