So sorry for your loss. I had a lot of good memories when your mom and I would eat breakfast at the Shriner's. She was a lovely person.

When you live on a rock (Kodiak) and belong to Rainbow Girls in the sixties, you're destined to meet folks from Seward, like Laurel Holmes. Then long after moving off the rock and start working as an adult with Rainbow Girls you find out she makes great cheesy bread. Rainbow Girls lost a great ally. Joanie Benson Jackson

One of the sweetest ladies! She always welcomed me into her home as one of her own when there was a kid party :)
May she forever be your angel. Love you guys.

I knew Mrs. Holmes for a short while when I was a young Rainbow Girl. She was always a warm presence in the room, even if she was taking away your gum ;) The simple memories I have of her are minor compared to others, but I do remember her cheesy bread from our progressive dinners, and the love she had for every single one of us girls.

I am so sorry for your loss- Mrs. Thompson, Kristen, Brianna and family. I know what a strong presence she was in your lives and how close you ladies were. Your relationship together was truly something special! I will continue to pray for peace & healing for your family, and know that you will see her again someday. Until you meet again..
