Kindest woman ever - I wish I was closer. Her book was. Great insight to her soul - I loved every page. Johnalee you are awesome - you made her final days the best they could. Love you all.

What a truly elegant woman. I found her to be so fascinating and full of life! I had my book club read her book that she wrote about their experience in Point Hope & Gambell. It was a very inspirational read.. Lee was someone I would have loved to get to know more. I was sad that our paths only crossed once at Johna & David's wedding in Hawaii..but what a lasting and loving impression she made on me. I am so sorry for your loss. Much love to all of you!

It was a treat to meet Lenore and her Kauai family. What a lovely elegant example of grace and beauty. She is missed by many.

Lee was a beautiful and gracious lady in every way. She will always have a special place in our hearts. We will always remember the lunches we had together with her and Jack when we visited family in Alaska.
