Mike and I worked together in the late 1970's and early 80's. He even talked me into commercial fishing with him on his brother Gary's boat one summer. A great guy and the world has lost a very special man. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Mike and I had army training together in Louisiana and the Northwest before our service together in Vietnam and later in Colorado. And we remained friends afterwards to the very end. He was a fine person.

Mike was a great combat soldier. He was a quiet guy who did his duty and didn't whine about how tough he had it. He cared deeply about his fellow Black Lions and he showed it by coming to our reunions as often as he could. All Black Lions are grieving the loss of our Brother, Mike. God Bless You Mike, and those who cared for you. With the greatest love, Dave Aldridge
