Bill and Bobby - I was sad to read about your loss. You are both in my thoughts

Mrs Novotney, Family and Friends,
My prayers go out to you and your Family. I was deeply saddened on the news of Mr Novotney's passing. He will be in my heart forever. One of the joys of being his (previous) mail lady for the past twelve years was getting to know Mr Novotney and the family. His kindness and joyful disposition was always the highlight of my day. Along with his smiles and laughter that always seemed to brighten may day. I will always remember his wonderful stories of his four wheeling and fishing adventures in Alaska. Though I chose to switch to a mail route last fall closer to home, I will always cherish the wonderful memories of meeting and talking with Mr Novotney. He will always be remembered and surely missed.

I owe a lot to my brother in law, through out the years I watched him work on cars, trucks, and tractors.
I remember the three wheeled tractor he built while he and my sister lived in Cadott to snow plow side walks, and to plow gardens for people.
Some of his mechanical ability must have rub off onto me and help me in my twenty some years as a civil service mechanic.
There were so many memories of Bob that come to mind, all ways gentle, jolly, and joking. I am so proud that he was my brother in law. R.I.P. Bob. Winston.

My deepest sympathy.

Having only met "Grandpa" once....when they were visiting Az...

I felt I knew him through Betty and Tim long before we were ever introduced...An amazing man.. an amazing life..

Bob was five years older than I (the second-born). One incident involving him comes to mind at this time.
We attended a one-room country schoolhouse about 1.5 miles from our family farm. Having started attending that school before I did, Bob found a shortcut through three neighbors' back woods.
On one late afternoon in winter, we trudged through a lot of snow. At the time, he was 11 and I 6. My shorter legs couldn't keep up with his, so I just parked myself in a snowbank.
After a while, Bob noticed I was no longer following him so he back-tracked to where I was, loaded me on his sled and pulled me home. Had he not done so, it is possible I wouldn't be here today, so I have a lot to thank Bob for.

May you soar through the skies on this your grandest adventure.
