Pops,
Feels a little strange to want to drop you line. I know you can see me just the same. Last week we hit the six month mark since you went home and some of your personal items finally got here. This last weekend was a good time reflecting on you, mom, childhood and some great memories.

It's getting warm here in Alaska and baseball season is on. Wish we could play a little catch. Can't find anyone to throw with. I miss the days of you throwing heat in the front yard. Me breaking windows in the motor home with wild returns. I remember even in your mid 40's you could toss some pretty hot pitches. I don't even remember the last time we played. Probably when I cam home in the summer of '98.

Anyway, I love you and miss you dearly.

Bob was a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor. We met in the baseball world in Anchorage and were able to share many fine memories. His "Pirates" baseball squad was tough but smart just like their skipper! I know Bob is smiling now, probably giving the "brush em back" sign for his new team! We are proud of his service to this country and trust his family is strong and remembering his life fondly. Thanks Bob!

Coach Yo got me back into baseball when he made me a part of the Anchorage Pirates back in 1992. I will be forever grateful for that. He also introduced me to my child hood idol, Bob Gibson.
May the Good Lord be with your family during this difficult time.
Bless,
Mike

I have wonderful memories of Bob from KWAG. He was in our small group, and he and my husband Rich spent time together in fellowship and also in working the sound at the church. I am warmed to know that he and Rich are now spending time together again! To his family: you are in my prayers!

I have known Bob since 1980, when we lived next to each other on Ft Richardson. His children were small, as were mine, and thus we spent a lot of time together. Our wives were friends, another reason for our friendship. I haven't seen him for a long time, and was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. To Teri and the kids, God Bless you all during this time of grief. Please call me if there is anything I can do.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I remember Bob very fondly from church growing up. He was always so kind and funny. I'm so sorry to his family and friends for this loss, but I'm happy for him, that he is now Home.

I first met Bob & Terry at the Ft. Richardson Flying Club. I was an instructor there who not only took him on as a student to obtain his Fixed Wing Rating, but he and his family became dear friends as well. As a Vet myself, Bob served his country with pride and honor. I'll miss my friend and I'm sorry for his passing. To Terry, Matt and Michael, my dearest condolenances and sympathies. Love ya, your friend always, Michael.
