Missing you
March 16, 2009
Mr. and Mrs. Curlee.

Through Facebook, several of us who went to high school with Stacy just learned of her passing this last weekend. I wanted you to know about the outpouring of emotion I have seen over the last several days.

Though it's been since attending CHS that many of us last saw her, to say Stacy was thought of fondly doesn't convey the level of affection for her shared by all. Sweet, smiling, positive, kind, funny and Texan were all descriptions I have read.

I knew Stacy and always enjoyed her company. We were both transplanted Texans and neighbors. I never knew her to be cross or impatient with anyone. Each person who knew her was better for it.

I know all of our thoughts are with you, Stacy's daughter and the rest of your family.

I only hope these words bring some comfort.

I wish you peace and strength.

Stacy,

You were an amazing woman, you are missed by soo many you left behind. I am so sorry to hear what happened to you and I hope that you find peace in your new home. You have a beautiful daughter to continue your legacy. You were always there for everyone that needed you no matter the reason. I still have a hard time believing your no longer with us as I see you running barrels on that big ol horse of yours and just walking around with that big grin. There are people in your life that come and go and many will touch your hand though few will touch your heart.. Stacy you truly touched the hearts of many and for that we are all grateful. YOu made this world and so many peoples lives better for being in it. We love and miss you terribly. Till we see you again my friend. Watch over us all and wait for us love n miss you Tracey

Curlee family, I am so sorry to hear about Stacey. I can still hear her laugh thru the halls at CHS. I had a Texan accent but boy when Stacey came along, my accent was never noticed again....I never seen her upset about anything, she was always happy and laughing. She'll be missed, she had more friends then she'll every know.

To the Curlee Family, I am so sorry to hear about Stacey. I am just sick about it and can't imagine the pain and sorrow you are experiencing. As you know, Stacey was my best friend in high school and I have very fond memories of her. I can still hear her calling me "Debbie, Honey" with her southern drawl and me calling "Stacey Honey" back to her and then giggling. I wish we could have seen more of each other in our adult years. I will never forget her. She will live in my memories. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

It's always sad to hear a story like this but to see all the wonderful things people said about her was breath taking. I think many outsiders will see this and think of their own situations and hopefully they will be inspired to do the right thing. As a survioror myself I want to send my deepest condolences to the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
God Bless
