SueP was my mentor, my matron of honor and my friend. She was so much dang fun. I have great memories of the two of us gardening in her greenhouse, having epic lunch breaks, working late to finish a big proposal, and just having a lot of fun together. I will miss her dearly and will forever think of her - especially when I see beautiful pansies. My heart goes out to the whole family but especially to Jim, the love of her life.

Jim and Family, Sue had a way of making me feel good when I was around her. She was a funny, kind, and very caring person. Aaron and I enjoyed spending time with Jim and Sue together. When we see Jim and family members again, it will feel like Sue is still with us, as she's so much a part of you. So sorry for your loss.

I haven't seen my aunt sue since I was 9 years old but my memories from that time are something I'm very fond of. But my most recent memory comes from 2011. I had gotten into trouble and was incarcerated. You find where your family stands when that happens. Aunt sue and uncle Jim were standing right next to me. They sent me letters in the toughest time. They showed me that time and distance doesn't stand a chance against a family bond and family love. Aunt sue you are deeply missed. I will cherish the memories. I'm using a picture of you and I, me as a baby, for my bookmark now. I see you everytime I read and everytime I think of Alaska. Love you aunt sue.

Jim & Family
I am in disbelief that Sue is gone at such a young age my heart goes out to your entire family. As being my next store neighbors for 13 years you guy were the best neighbors to have. When i was building my house Sue would get get curious to see how i was doing she would bring over a cup of hot coffee which was always greatly appreciated. I would show her what i had done and what i was planning to do as i was changing my design day by day. Sue would come over just to make sure i was ok cause i worked alone and she would worry i might have an accident. I know Jim and Sue remodeled there home and i always wondered if i started something. All i can say is she will be truly missed. I can't say enough Sue and Jim Made the best neighbors putting up with my late night construction and still you offered hot coffee on a cold day. Sue had a heart of gold and that will last forever.

Dear Jim and Family,
Few people receive the gift of being loved without measure, but I know you and your Family were. The depth of your grief now is an indication of the depth of the love you shared with Sue, and she with you and her family. Though life will never be the same, may the knowledge of so great a gift and those cherished memories, help you through the pain. My thoughts and Prayers are with you and your Family.

Susan passed away that early Friday morning holding my hand while I whispered endearments. We both loved Alaska and all the people we knew there. Her passing has left a huge hole in my soul that can only be filled with memories. I found comfort in this writing I found in a book, "I knew when I took that first step into the darkness, I would discover one of two things...something to support me...or I would learn to fly." Knowing my Sue, she found both.

Dear Jim & Family, It is with heavy heart that we extend our deepest sympathy over Sue's passing. She was such a vibrant lady with a beautiful smile and a positive, happy personality. May you each be comforted by your own special memories and in knowing that you have a very special angel watching over you.
