Kathy,
I learned only today of Tom's death and I am so very sorry for your loss. Tom was a good man in the truest meaning of that description. Honest, giving and always thinking of others. I'll miss him very much.

Tom will be very missed but the way he lived his life is a model for all of us: Live the life you love and Love the life you live. Tom certainly enjoyed everyday of his life.

Dear Kathy and family, With each day we think of you and the great loss you are bearing. God bless, comfort and sustain all of you. We fondly remember the great Tom/Fr. Kelley stories my beloved brother Jim often told us. Keeping you ever in our prayers. Love, Mary Lou, Bob and Jimmy

Dear Kathy and Deanna
I am sorry to hear about your loss. I will always remember the warmth you and Tom showed me in my year abroad. Dee, you had an awsome dad!
Thinking you, Love Maria

I've been trying to think of some words to offer, other than the obligatory 'Like' on Facebook. I didn't know Tom personally very well; rather I knew of him more as a staple ingredient at St. Michael's...always there, just not right in the forefront. He was a dad - one of the many parental figures contributing to that community. I did know his kids and spent countless hours growing up with them in school and in youth group. If Tom's remarkability can be evidenced anywhere, it is in his children. I know them to be kindhearted, hardworking, compassionate and supportive and I wish them comfort during the days and years ahead.
