My thoughts and prayers are with the Johnson family during this difficult time. Dr. Johnson was a very special person. He believed in me and my abilities to do whatever it is that I want to do when many others did not. He played a large role in the person that I am today. His passion for education and willingness to help others has always inspired me. My goal is that I can share a portion of what he gave me with others.

For Adriel Jr., and family, I'm not sure that I ever met your father while you were one of "mine" at Lee, but it is easy to see that he was a much loved man, not only by his family, but by the Scouting community and university family as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. - Bonnie Edmondson, Huntsville, Al (LHS)

Please accept my sincere condolences to your family at this time. I pray that God will continue to comfort and keep you in His arms. Look to the hills from whence cometh your help and trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. A special thanks to Dr. Johnson for being a mentor to my son Demetrius Castleberry. He truely admired him. May God's blessings be upon you all during your trying times of sorrow.
