May God be will the Thames Family at this time.
September 11, 2013
We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the wife and family of Billy Thames (Senator) as we knew him best. All families with family members with a mental illness are forever indebted to Senator Thames for the Mississippi Mental Health Reform Act of 1997. We are all deeply sadden to hear of his illness and passing. We pray that God will be with you and all your family at this difficult time and bless you with all the beautiful and cherish memories of his great life of love and purpose. We are are so thankful for him and to you for sharing him with the state of Mississippi as a Senator. We are forever grateful and will cherish our memory of this great man.

Ann,
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Billy touched so many lives in so many positive ways. His legacy is that of a personable, giving, caring man.
