Our prayers for your family. I fondly remember fishing off Galveston with George and my father, Rush Record, many years ago. I also remember our two families attending St. Francis.

I worked for George over 50 years ago at Christie, Mitchell & Mitchell. He & Cynthia were just building a new home off Memorial lot of glass & steel.. so long ago yet like yesterday! I was very young, had a sick baby, starting a new job & no insurance..George saw to that the bill at Texas Children's was paid in full, without me even knowing about it. He was a fine, fine man, always a giver!

So sorry for your loss, our prayers to all the family.
We moved here from New York in 1976 to the Woodlands area, we were facinated by the master plan of "The Woodlands", enclosed in glass on display at the Woodlands Warf by the ice skating rink, on occation I would bump into the very modest George Mitchell coming out of the bank. A very pleasant man with an amazing gift and vision !

My prayers and condolences to your loved ones. You were kind to me when I was a tiny girl and my parents, J. Scott and LouCille Scoggins adored you.
In the "twinkling of an eye" we shall all be reunited with you in God's Paradise. Tracy Scoggins
