To all those close to Linda, With deep sympathy for her early passing. I lived in Linda's little cottage/reconverted garage in san anselmo in 1987. It was a blessing to share the land with her there on the top of the hill, with the beautiful gardens and the trails leading in all directions. Linda's hospitality and generosity were expansive. I was particularly inspired by her full wardrobe in black and grey - she could really make it work. I was glad she could get out to the country and create a retreat - her welcoming arms embraced us all. I am so glad to have known her.

I just woke up (in a hotel in NJ) from a wonderful dream filled with handiwork and baskets & Linda Reuther energy. I went online to see if there was yet anything posted of Linda's passing and learned that yesterday was the gathering at Hearts & Hands.
I am sorry that I missed the opportunity to be with people who knew and loved Linda (i am now living in New England...). Linda's spirit and loving force was/is incredibly strong--- her sense of & appreciation for beauty endures. Indeed, she will be missed. I so appreciated her visit in my dream! What a wonderful gift.
My condolences to Linda's partner, her family, and her Mendocino/Albion community, especially to my cousin Ceril & to Julie Silber.
Namaste.

One of those people I was always happy to see and I will miss her. We first met in the 70's in Inverness and we both ended up in Mendocino, it was a joy to find her here.
