Mrs McDONALD was my mom for six weeks. My mom sent me to live wth my grand mother, Mrs Mahaney in Akron when I was 9 0r 10 or so to make my first communion. After the first day, I quit and spent the day in the park goofing around withth "park guys". The Sheriff (Bill)picked me up and through me in the county jail. (from a call from my grand mother--who said she couldn't control me)(this was also when I thought I would like to become a Lawyer). Mrs. McDonald came to the jail, just like Aunt B on TV. (Andy Griffih Show). She had a basket of food and a hug. She "baild me out" and I came to live with Her and the Sheriff untill I finished my first communion. It was a great time in my life. I had great food, love and my own bed. and, also, the nuns were all of a sudden nice to me in class, which was my reason for leaving in the first place. This was one of the best chapters in my life and I would tell her that when I would visit the Akron Nursing Home. Few have made such an impression on my life! Dan Kelley Attorney-At-Law.
