I was struck by the innocence of your face, and the gentle tone of your voice....May you rest in the everlasting peace of God....I never met you until tonight, and I was struck with so much sadness to read of your passing at the end of the program....Rest my brother....

I saw the documentary, " Let the Fire Burn," and was more saddened to learn you had crossed over to a new life. You deserve to be free of the painful thoughts of the Osage St. massacre. Now you are "Birdie" with angel wings. You are free!

I just saw your story on PBS. Rest in peace. I hope that you had enough love in your adult life to ease the pain received during your childhood
