My thoughts are with the family during this difficult time....I only had the chance to know Mr. Norris for a short time during his stay in Rehab but we shared many good conversations over our love of horses and his breathtaking artwork. Hope you're riding with your angels in Heaven, Mr. Norris!

In honor and with love for you, Grandpa Gene. May you rest in peace.

Dad was many things to those of us who loved him. The list of his talents and life's adventure is long. He was an artist, both in the field of technical illustration and varied art mediums, winning awards and having his work displayed in galleries, public areas and mass produced corporate productions. He loved both Colorado and New Mexico, and although he traveled the world, he always returned to the area that inspired his work and where he felt most at home. He always strove to do the best he knew how to do and would want to be remembered for being a kind person, respectful of life. His love for art, music, animals, nature, and beauty in general is nearly unsurpassed and has certainly inspired those of us whose lives he touched. In many ways, I feel as though I've lost my best friend and will miss Dad terribly.

You were my childhood companion, Gene, and I will never forget the good times we shared. You will be sorely missed.
