Mere words cannot express the many great things that this man has accomplished and the many lives that he touched with his own life. Thank you Coach Moore for all that you did and the examples set with your love for your wife & family, friends and the fans of The University of Alabama.

Offering my deepest condolences during this difficult time, I'm so very sorry for your loss, death is something we are never prepared for, but please find comfort in knowing sickness, pain and death will one day be no more. For God has promised.

The first time I met Coach Moore was in New Orleans when my wife was on a student recruiting trip for the College of Engineering in the mid '90s. I had gone along so we could take a short vacation at the conclusion of the weekend. Coach Moore was an administrator in the athletic department at the time and was present simply to talk to prospective students about the athletic programs on campus. But in a room full of students who were only concerned about math and science instead of athletics, Coach Moore knew he and I were both a couple of 5th wheels. He finished speaking then graciously escorted me out to the porch where we spent a terrific evening of him telling me stories of Coach Bryant and Alabama while I told him stories of my law enforcement career. I have always treasured that moment and will always appreciate the dedication Coach Moore had to his wife, his family, his university, and to people everywhere. Rest In Peace Coach.
