Grew up in east Baltimore and along with my brother and his friends went to many Orioles games in the 60s and early 70s. It was always exciting to see Paul Blair take the field. He was one of the greats....Gold Glove winner....great center fielder....always a big smile on his face. Another legend gone to heaven. My condolences to his family.

I had the pleasure of watching Paul Blair play at Memorial Stadium. He always signed autographs for the kids and always had a smile on his face. I also had the pleasure of working with Mr. Blair's son, Kevin, at the ARC of Baltimore. Kevin, your Dad I know was so proud of you! You are his light! I am deeply sorry for your loss and the loss for our city. Your Dad will be missed!
Love,

The best ever playing center field. Never played deep but very shallow center to rob the opposition of key hits. He had it all, speed, great defensive skills, cluth hitter and a great team player. He gave the fans of Baltimore memories of a lifetime and will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace and enjoy everlasting life. Thanks for the memories.
