Brian Dunagan Miller
June 16, 1968 - Sept. 20, 2013
On Friday, Sept. 20 Brian was called back to our Heavenly Father. Brian was a man of many talents and interests. His life was full of opportunities to serve and enlighten everyone around him. He was born on Beale Air Force Base, Calif., and lived in many different places throughout the world.
He served an LDS mission in Bilbao, Spain, and upon his return, made the decision to join the U.S. Air Force. During his time in the Air Force he was able to see the world in a way that fed into his natural inquisitive nature. While he was stationed at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, he met the love of his life. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Ogden LDS Temple on June 16, 1994. Together they continued their adventures and world travels, adding three beautiful children along the way.
Brian was a devoted husband, loving father, compassionate son and loyal brother. He had an unquenchable desire for knowledge. There was never a time where he did not want to know how and why something worked. Among the endless ways to describe him and his life, a few would be: a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, spontaneous, adventurous, kind-hearted, amateur astronomer, logically minded, thirsty for understanding, teacher, appreciated music, strong, loved without bounds and curious.
Brian has always been enamored with space and its many mysteries. He is now finally able to know the answers to all his questions.
He is survived by his wife, Jennilynn Webb Miller; children Emily Lauren (16), Patrick James (12) and Olivia Joy (5); mother Gail Dunagan Morrison and her husband, Paul; father John Walter Miller and his wife, Elizabeth; grandmother Athena Hill Dunagan; brothers Eric (Carolyn), Chad (Denise) and Todd (Meral). Numerous half-brothers and sisters, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a memorial account through Otero Federal Credit Union for the children's future educational expenses.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at the LDS church located at 1800 23rd Street. Funeral arrangements provided by Alamogordo Funeral Home.

Brian was a good friend of both my husband Jeff and myself. He could relate to us in a way few others could. We miss him dearly, and will for the rest of our lives. Brian was a genuinely sincere man who would help anyone in need. The world needs more people like him. Our prayers go out to Brian's family.

My prayers and thoughts are with Brian and the entire Miller Family at this time. Brian was nothing but a pleasure to deal with in the few scant years I had to know him.

He was a person that truly loved every member of his family. I will miss the crazy adventures and conversations that we shared together. He was a brother to me too. Mare, Remember that Christmas morning with Brian? I will always remember it. He was a excellent example of a loving and caring husband and father. I will miss him. May the peace of our Savior and his tender mercies comfort us in this difficult time.
