To the Dominguez family: I am sad to hear you have lost your husband and father. To be away from home and to have such a tragedy take him must have been very difficult. Please know that our hearts still are broken for all the lost and all of their family members. May God wrap you in his warm and loving embrace.

To the Dominguez family

Our surname appears next to yours in the phone directory, and I have always seen your surname when looking at my name in the white pages. I couldn't believe it when I saw a Dominguez on the site. My hopes and prayers are with you. I know that even know many of us still think about the tragedy of September 11 every day and think about those who were so deeply affected by the events of that day.

Kindest regards
From someone very close to you (in the phone book anyway)

We are very sorry for your loss of Alberto. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I hope this encourages the family of Albert that we are praying for them in their time of grief.
We Remember You

We remember you in your anguish and pain,
knowing that in this life you'll never see your friends or loved ones again.
You'll never see their precious smile or feel the warmth of their embrace,
or hear the laughter in their voice or wipe a tear from their face.
We remember you in the days to come when reality sets in,
that there'll be an empty place in your home and heart where your loved ones should have been.
Yes they should have been there in your life,
to share your joy to share your strife;
To share your laughter to share your tears,
to share your dreams through the years.
We remember you in our thoughts and prayers
And to let you know that somebody cares.
Yes we care that you are lonely and blue,
So we are sending this hug especially for you.
We pray you find peace from the Lord above,
And that He will surround you in His love.
We pray you'll have the strength needed to go on,
To prove to the enemy that they have not won.
And when the hurting comes anew,
Please know in your heart that we remember you.

Though I did not know Mr. Dominquez, I know that with every name listed there are many people at home who loved that person. I travel often and have good friends in Australia. I thought it must be especially difficult that it happened so far away. We are terribly sad, and everyone here in the US is praying for all of the people and their families, even from as far away as Sydney.
