To all the family members and friends of Mr. Alexander Haig:

I would like to offer (or rather Please receive...) my most sincere condolences.
Mr. Haig is/was a great person who loved his country a lot! I will say a prayer for him and his relatives at 3PM.

I served at S.H.A.P.E Belgium under the General and was very impressed with his power when he replaced General Andrew Goodpaster. Man, General Haig was awesome when he walked the halls of S.H.A.P.E. with all allied military personnel behind him. He reminded me of "Alexander The Great" General Haig was a great American as well as a kind man I will always respect his decisions he made and will continue to be a great role model to me. Our country has suffered a true loss. General Haig was a brilliant strategist and a true hero to me and many others. While he served under President Nixon, I was serving in the United States Marine Corps. General Haig, will be missed, my sincere condolences to the entire family.

Godspeed and Semper Fidelis to you General.
