I served on Active duty while Al was doing his thing in Washington. He really was a man of leadership qualities. he knew what he wanted and he knew how to motivate people. He caught hell for his comments in the White House but I remember it well. He was the ONLY person with any leadership in town and he took command until things came back to order. he was a superb leader and a soldier that anyone should have felt comfortable about going into battle with. He will be missed. He is from the old scholl of leadership...Lead, Follow or get the Hell out of the Way....
