So very very sorry for your loss. To be able to cherish the wonderful years you had with this brave young man is something you should hold on to. Take those kids in your arms and never let them go-so lucky to have such a great Dad.

Saw you on the Today Show and you were so strong and brave for your husband. He would be so proud of you and will watch over you and your family. God bless and keep you.

Dear Juliann,

I have to confess that seeing your interview on TV brought me to tears. You exemplified everything good in this world and your message came through loud and clear, these men are heroes.

Learning about this tragedy has been a humbling experience for me and it takes me back to 1980 when my wife and I lost our first daughter to Leukaemia when she was 10 months old. I always still think of her as being close by but out of reach, out of my care but in God's care.

What helped me was having two more children who have now given me grandchildren who remind me of my daughter.

You and your children lost so much when your husband died but I remember when I was little my father being away on business for months and every day my mother would send him an airmail letter and everyday we would write down in that letter what we had done that day. In that way I didn't miss him so much.

Your boys will always remind you of Andrew and in them, and your daughter, a part of him will always be with you.

God bless you and your family and all those other families who lost their loved ones, their heroes.
