Grandma DiDonato.
I simply cannot put into words what this wonderful woman meant to me, especially these past fourteen months since Robby passed away.
I am so grateful to have so many wonderful memories with her over the years. I already terribly miss hearing her say, Oh, hi honey!' every time I walk in the door or the way she would shake her head in her hand as she's laughing when she finds something humorous yet ridiculous.
She has always been a true inspiration and role model with her positive outlooks, friendly smiles, and contagious laughter.
Grandma always greeted you with a smile, a warm hug and a kiss on the check. She was always there to offer you her advice and a glass FULL of wine if you asked for it or not! (I can NOT stress enough how she would pour me FULL glasses regardless of me saying, just a little bit.')
Listening to Grandma tell family stories you know she genuinely lived a life that everyone dreams of. Her life was full of love, family, excitement and wine. In my humble opinion, she is the epitome of Sinatra's My Way.'
I know she is truly elated to be reunited with her high school sweetheart and husband of 44 years, two of her children and Robby. Nevertheless we are sure going to miss her down here.
I love you, Grandma. It was an absolute privilege having you in my life. I love you.
