I read in the SCAN (St. Kate's magazine) that Annette died on December 31. I am so sorry to hear of her death -- I remember her so fondly as my classmate at St. Kate's (1983). I didn't know very many students -- but I knew her: fun, energetic, passionate about social work and social justice, easy to talk to, soft in tone, strong in voice. Each time there has been a reunion I've always looked forward to seeing her. I send support to her family and will always remember Annette with warmth and fondness. She died so young -- with so much left to give all of us -- and we to her.

I am so deeply saddened for you.

My deepest sympathies to all of Annette's family and friends. I am a high school friend and also graduated with Annette from the University of Michigan School of Social Work. She was always warm, genuine and caring in every interaction, and this approach seems to have carried with her throughout her life as she positively impacted the lives of countless others. She will be missed.
