Barbara Kehoe Obituary

Kehoe, Barbara Jane Crisenbery Chelsea, Michigan Age 86, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Arbor Hospice Residence in Saline. She was born April 9, 1931 in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of Wendell T. & Eleanor L. (Godley) Bather. Barbara graduated from Jackson High School in 1948. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Barbara worked as an Executive Secretary for 12 years for General Motors in Hudson, OH and Toledo, OH, retiring in 1986. Barbara volunteered at the Chelsea Community Hospital since 1997. She enjoyed music and piano, and was an avid gardener. On September 28, 1972, she married John "Jack" Kehoe in Charlotte, NC, and he survives. Other survivors include four sons, John (Laurie) Crisenbery; Stephen Crisenbery; Richard (Cindy) Crisenbery; Brian (Michelle) Crisenbery, all of St. Clair; a sister, Nancy (Bob) Greve, of Ooltewah, TN; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Margery Claire; and 2 brothers, John W. Bather and Norman C. Bather. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 1, 4:00 pm at Cole Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Kathy Schell officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 2-4 pm. The family would like to give special thanks to Arbor Hospice and Synergy Home Care. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital-Chelsea or Arbor Hospice.
