We were so very sorry to hear of your huge loss. Basol was so fun to visit with. He was a fixture at the sporting events of his children and one the the most enjoyable person we have known. The Paulsen family is so sad for your great loss. Our hearts are aching for all of you. May God bless you with peace and the comfort of loved ones. Peter, Gina, Brian and Georgie Paulsen

Delta was small in Detroit when Basol first arrived in his new position as the station manager. It was an honor and pleasure working for him and being a part of that team. He brought sunshine to a station that desperately needed it. He understood the CSAs and the ramp crew having worked in both departments. Both above and below wing loved him. He was a great leader and I thank his family for sharing him with us. Praying for his kids, Kelly, and the rest of his family. He will be missed.

High School Classmate 83'....Basol always had a smile as you can see. I have not seen it since 1983 but it never changed. I miss ya buddy, say hi to God for me and remember the Angels do love smiles. God Bless your family at a time of their sorrow, I'm so sorry for your loss. PS I just remembered, you were the tallest and skinniest person I knew in high school

Love ya Bud,

Kim (Kelsey) Cardwell

Basol's family, I am so very sorry for your loss, my heart felt love goes out to you...I know how much he loved you all, he would always talk about his family and was so proud of you all.
I know Basol from Delta however, he grew to be a dear friend of mine and always made me laugh, even when I didn't feel like it or think that I could laugh. He gave me inspiration and a way of looking at things in a different way. I will always be grateful for his presence in my life and will smile every time I think of him. May Peace be with you.
