I had the pleasure of giving David a PET 16k microcomputer never realizing where this might lead. A wonderful mind and with an intense intellect. For wondeful times, a fine family, an your constant commitment to learning; you are missed! Your fater in law,

Dave was one of my first bosses back in 1988 and is one of the top individuals that made a big impact in my life. I regret that he was not in my life more, and am very grateful that I had a chance to visit him in London in 2003.

I just want you to know what a difference you and Shannon made in my life. I haven't had many real friends in my life and you weren't even just a friend. You were like the father I never had, I know that sounds weird but it's true. Words fail me. I love you and wish I could see iyou again back on the farm down in Camden with the dogs and goat and pigs. I'll really miss you and know that you'll be remembered.

Daveyou are very important to me. You changed my life direction. You gave me the belief that I can do anything. I am profoundly sad that this has come to you. I am so lucky to have meet and to know you. Losing you would be like losing a family member. I will pray for a miracle to happen. I am not religious, but sometimes we throw out what we think we know and just hope. I still tell stories you told us way back when. Not as well as you told us, but I still tell them. I am wishing all good things for you. ,

Spirit fly free where once it lay bound
now the reins of imagination take entirely new forms.
The bear spirit of this man walks among the stars
and finds his way home.

"Sanurai" computer genius, David Allan Feldt, will be greatly missed. I experienced him as a font of tech information that flowed like a fire hose. Beyond just technology, he was a flame that burned brightly in so many of our lives. When I meet people who think coworking is something new, I tell them about this guy, David Feldt, who started "small systems guild" in the 1980s as the first such experiment in new types of work environments.

I have lost my parents and two of my younger sisters. Parts of common history memories … lost. Nowadays I am the history forwarder. I don´t know what it would be to lose one of my children. You have just begun learning about yours. All that comes to a father to do and arrange when one of his children has died is upon you now. Feelings often have to wait.
When my mother died very unexpectedly, we found  in her psalm-book a mark for a hymn by a woman called Lina Sandell-Berg. In 1865, the beginning says, translated into English :

Day by day, and with each passing moment,?Strength I find, to meet my trials here;?Trusting in my Father's wise bestowment,?I've no cause for worry or for fear.
Right. Only one day at a time. That is enough to deal with.

I judy learned that your son died this past weekend.  While I know it was expected, I am sorry you had to suffer the unique pain in losing a child.  Please let me know if there's anything I can do to be of help to you or your family.  You're in my thoughts.
