 Memories & Condolences
This Guest Book will remain online permanently courtesy of An Ann Arbor and San Francisco Family who have fond memories of Father Srebernak.

Fr. Srebernak had a warm and kindly way of speaking to the students of St. Francis while not speaking down to them. More than anyone except my Mom and Dad, he is responsible for forming my faith. Well done, good and faithful servant!

I remember very fondly Father Srebenak during the many years when my parents, brothers and sister attended mass as parishoners of St. Francis of Assisi in Ann Arbor at both the old and new locations. Perhaps my fondest memory was serving the special mass with my brother, James Jr. (Nu), to celebrate the opening of the new St Francis church that my father, James Sr., designed. I am saddened to hear of Father Srebernak's passing but know that he is remembered by many and will remain in their hearts.

I was a stundent of Father Srebernak at Sacred Heart Seminry! A geat kind person. Interestingly, I did not realize that Fr. Srebernak was born in Calumet! My parents were from Calumet who lived on Helca Street!
