Had no idea that "Georgia's Mom" became such an accomplished lady, or married a teacher I remember fondly from Tappan, but I have warm memories of her kindness to a little girl who spent time in her home.
Sorry for your loss uncle Don ,Anna and Scott my thoughts are with you
I'm one of thousands of Ann Arbor High School students counseled by Mr. McEwen, and one of the Class of 1965 who were reunited with him at our last reunion. There, we also had the pleasure of meeting Amber, and the opportunity of singing her husband's praises. My deepest sympathy on her passing, but what a full life she lived; a role model for all!

Amber Jean was a very classy lady. I enjoyed playing bridge with her. She was always friendly and warm. She was one of those special people that you meet along life's path. My prayers and thoughts are with Don and her family.
Don, I am so sorry to read of the death of Amber. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
May you draw close to God in prayer and find comfort in reading his Word.
