Donald Jones Obituary
JONES, DONALD EARL Whitmore Lake, MI
Donald Earl Jones, of Whitmore Lake, MI, age 85, died Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Residence of Arbor Hospice. He was born May 14, 1927 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Paul W. and Gwendolyn (Baldwin) Jones. Don was a proud Marine Corps Veteran and Ford Motor Company retiree. On August 7, 1949, he married Eva Louise Hall in Lincoln, Nebraska, and she survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Deborah (Carey) Strykowski of Zeeland, Carol (Timothy) Carr of Dexter; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 11:00 am at Dexter Gospel Church, with Rev. John O'Dell officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Ann Arbor. The family will receive friends at Cole Funeral Chapel Monday, May 13, from 4-8:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Dexter Gospel Church Building Fund.

I hope that I still can write a few words of Love for my uncle Don. He lives on in my memeory as a fun loving sweetheart of a man who always gave of himself. I see him driving the Dune buggie, Playing Scrabble and putting puzzles together. Love you Donny Boy! Always, Janie Poo (Mayer-Moe)
