I was a nurse aid for Rem prior to her passing. Though I knew her very briefly i could see how polite, respectful, and caring she was. I was amazed at how grateful Rem was when I helped her. I knew her at the very end and was a friend.

Aunt Rem was a positive force in our lives from our early childhood until her passing. She gave us guidance through the best and worse of times. We depended on and benefited from her advice. We cherish our memories of her and will miss her terribly. We can't express the depth of our gratitude here but we hope our letters will give you insight. We'll see you June 14.

Aunt Rem was one of my favorite people. She was a very warm and loving person and made me feel very welcome in the family when I married Garry (Sam's son) in 1967. I loved talking to her. I certainly will miss her and her wonderful laugh. She was a very special person.

Aunt Rem - my memories.
For me, Aunt Rem was always the one to remind me of what to do, or what not to do, while I was growing up. Trust me, I needed her guidance. She was always kindhearted to us three (Bruce, Doreen and me). As I can best recall, Aunt Rem kind of took the place of my Grandmother Angelocci - a perfect role for her with me.
Going to Aunt Rem's meant TRAINS - food - a delight for any day but most especially at Christmas. We LOVED going to see that beautiful track and set of trains, miniature towns, crossings with lights and sound. A collector's dream and a delight.
The one thing I wish Aunt Rem had taught me was to golf. According to family lore, she was quite a good golfer and could give her brothers, Sam, Larry and John, a good run for their money!
Thank you Aunt Rem for your words of kindness, your patience with our family, your wonderful big smile and your laughter - I will remember the sound of your laughter always - deep, full and honest, just like Aunt Joyce's.
Glad we got to visit with you following the loss of Mom (Frances) -
I remember holding your hand, saying prayers and knowing it would probably be the last time.
God speed - Love, Rick & Karen Willett Hausman

I remember Rem as a very gracious lady during her five years at The Pines. Every afternoon she would be in the living room visiting with her many friends.
Her family will miss her, time heals but we never forget our loved ones.
