Rosella Bradbury Obituary

BRADBURY, ROSELLA I. Ann Arbor, MI Age 90, died Monday, September 2, 2013 at Whitehall Healthcare Center in Ann Arbor. She was born December 20, 1922 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Floyd B. and Marie P. (Purkey) Flaugher. Mrs. Bradbury was a resident of the Chelsea/Dexter area most of her life. She was active in Chelsea Senior Citizens and was an active volunteer for Chelsea Community Hospital. She married Richard A. Bradbury in Dexter, MI on September 25, 1942, and he preceded her in death on January 6, 1995. Survivors include two sons, Mark Bradbury of Bessemer and Martin Bradbury of VA; one daughter, Martha Blanton of Ann Arbor; six grandchildren; one great-grandson, Drew; one great-granddaughter, River; one sister, Eloise Schulz of Waterloo. She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Hinderer and a brother, Norman Flaugher. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 6th, 11:00 am at Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea, with Rev. King Hanna officiating. Burial will follow at Clements Cemetery on Jackson Road. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Chelsea Senior Citizens.
