I only learned of Ann's passing. It was such a surprise. How shocking for the entire family. Prayers for the entire Birkle Family. Bill, my condolences - she loved you so and was a great partner; Michael my sympathies - she was so proud of you. My son, Jon Balliet, will always think fondly of his Stone School Nursery School teacher. Thank God for the time we had to share her. Into his hands now, to protect her spirit.

Melissa, how blessed you are to have such a mother!! I think the first goal of her life each morning must have been to seize life and experience it to the full. Because that is how she lived. Her concern was always to help the children along their road. She had a plan and she carried it out. She has left a great legacy and is a role model we should all aspire to. We will be with you in spirit Melissa as you grieve and celebrate your mother.
